What’s the best way to protect our air and water, ensure local and sustainably grown food, provide habitat for wildlife, address climate resiliency, and preserve the natural beauty of our area? Land is the answer. The New River Land Trust works to conserve land that is highly valued for conservation, such as forests, prime farmland and wetlands. This rural land supports wildlife, food production, helps clean our air and water, and provides great recreation opportunities and beautiful vistas.
As a supporter, you’ll help us continue to protect land beyond the nearly 55,000 acres we’ve helped conserve since 2002. You’ll also help to provide nature-based experiences for hundreds of children each year through our Youth Outreach program, getting kids outside for learning and play, sparking an interest in nature and conservation.
When you support the Land Trust, you support Conservation Close to Home. With your help, we can continue programs that benefit the region, the community and future generations. Thank you for your support!
