Early Birders Explore Trails and Parks

Early Birders Ready to Bird

This spring, our Youth Outreach program has been very busy with birding!  We’ve had outings to Claytor Lake, Deerfield Trail and Gateway Park – with more to come in May and June.

The Early Birder kids and families have seen many species of birds as well as explored streams and wildflowers. Check out our events on the home page for the entire Early Birders schedule.

Early Birders is designed for kids ages 6-12 and their families.  Come bird watching with us and discover a whole new way of experiencing the outdoors.  We’ll bring the binoculars and field guides to use on the trips.  We hope you’ll join us!
