Outdoor Family Class – The Art of Autumn

September 23, 2017

Why do leaves turn beautiful colors in the fall? What does it feel like to be a leaf spinning in the wind? Join us for an art and nature workshop inspired by autumn.

Adam Short, Virginia Master Naturalist trainee, will teach us about local trees and reveal the secrets of their fall colors. Then, we’ll whirl & twirl like leaves and make watercolor prints with local artist and art teacher, Alyssa Holland Short.

We will gather at the Glade Road parking lot. The class is FREE, but registration is required. To save your spot, email youthoutreach@newriverlandtrust.org.
